  5. Update on CB21 – Prior to Transfer

  6. The Chancellor’s Office began accepting the Master Course File updates on March 1, 2010. All data submissions and resubmissions must reflect the new CB21, new CB22 and TOP Code changes. A conference call with the district staff responsible for CB21 changes can be beneficial in dealing with edit errors.

  7. Common Problems: Correction vs. New Control Number Active and Inactive, effect of changes on history TOP Code

  8. A noncredit course with a TOP code listed in the CB21 coding instructions may have a code of Y if the course is coded as basic skills and the course is not in a sequence.

  14. Ready for Summer 2010 submission • Must use the test site before production site • Process will flow from submission to reports • Existing reports will be evaluated • Many of the analysis reports to the data mart

SX04 (Enrollment-Grade) = XX (None of the above/unknown) will no longer be valid. • A semester/quarter data submission will be rejected if more than 1% of all SX04 grades submitted have a value of SX04 = RD. • Expand SX05 (Enrollment-Positive-Attendance-Hours) and XF07 (Session-Total-Hours) to 9999V9. • An additional SF21(Student Aid Award Type) SO - Osher Scholarship • Accounting Method = ‘W’ is not valid for an intersession (XB01 – Section Accounting Method)
