With its rich culture and history, it provides visitors with an authentic Indian experience without sacrificing modern amenities. Jodhpur is also known as the "Blue City" due to the blue-washed homes that line its streets. If you're planning a trip to Jodhpur, here are some things you should know before you go: -The weather is hot here year-round; temperatures typically hover around 100 degrees Fahrenheit during summertime months but drop down significantly during winter months (December through February). If you're visiting during summertime months, be sure to pack light clothes that are easy to layer so that you can adjust as needed throughout your day (or even your afternoon!). You can easily get Taxi Service in Jodhpur. -The Mehrangarh Fort is one of the most important attractions in Jodhpur. It was built by Maharaja Man Singh I in 1459 and rebuilt by his grandson, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, in 1583. This fort is located on an isolated rocky hilltop that overlooks the city and its surrounding landscape. The fort has several palaces inside it as well as a museum with exhibits from different eras of history. Opt for Taxi in Jodhpur. -UmaidBhawan is one of the most famous palaces in India, and it's located in Jodhpur. It was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in the early 1900s. The building is a white marble palace with a dome shaped roof and has been used for many different purposes over the years. The palace is now open to tourists and visitors to explore, but you should know that it is quite large—the grounds cover an area of over 200 acres. There are even some parts of the palace that are still not open to public viewing
