  2. What is Forensic Nursing ? • Forensic nursing is a nurse that provides help to patients who are victims of trauma. That have knowledge of legal system and collect evidence and investigate.

How to become a Forensic Nurse • 1st – apply for a college and join the nursing degree • 2nd – take the test and pass it • 3rd – earn a master degree in Forensic Nursing to became a nurse for sexual assault or other types of nurses • 4th- apply for the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certificate

Education required to be a forensic nurse • This requires an associate or bachelor's degree, which takes two to four years, then passing the National Council Licensure Examination for RNs • You have to have a degree as a Registered Nurse • Prospects will then have to receive their license to practice, and many go on to get certifications

Responsibilities of a forensic nurse • The first job is Assessment and Documentation - is to evaluate the physical and psychological traumas of their patient • The second job is the treatment – provide the victim with the right kind of medicine • The third job is testimony – this is a important job to a nurse , sometimes when a case goes wrong the nurse is to go in front of a judge , they have to be on there best behavior

  6. How much forensic nurses make? • The median wage for registered nurses in 2010 was $64,690 annually. Those in the lowest 10 percent earned as little as $44,190, while those in the top 10 percent earned as much as $95,130. One does need to remember that the salary is actually likely to vary based on a number of different things. The location of the job and the experience the nurse has are very important when determining the forensic nursing salary .
