  1. Autobiography Project

  2. Project Details • You will complete an Inquiry/Research outline detailing information about your life and heritage. • The purpose of the project is to help you develop research skills, as well as learn important facts about you and your family heritage. In addition to facts and opinions, you must also identify the mainoverarching characteristic that motivates you to make your historical footprint in the history of humanity. These are the essential questions that the project must address. • You will conduct research, using the PAVESO method; to improve their note-taking skills, knowledge base, and ability to access and reference sources of information, organize that information, produce a product and present your project using a presentational application of your choice. Your finished project must contain a digital-storytelling/audiography element and an original, engineered component. • Before the project begins, there will be mini lessons on inquiry learning and PAVESO. You will understand that inquiry/research learning is a process where you are directly involved in and responsible for, your own learning. • The inquiry/research model involves the following steps: Planning the project, gathering information, organizing information, processing information, creating a product, and presenting information. • You will be given a checklist to help them remain on task. • You will also be responsible for a self-evaluation of your product. Your teacher will assess the project using a rubric.

Essential Questions These are the essential questions that the project must address: • What are the important, interesting, or humorous facts about you and your family? • How has doing this project, on your family, impacted you? • What is the mainoverarching characteristic that motivates you (or your family members) to make an historical footprint in the history of humanity.?
