  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Welcome to God’s house today as our jubilant celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead continues this Sixth Sunday of Easter. On this Mother’s Day weekend we praise our living Savior for the gift of Christian mothers and grandmothers. May Jesus richly bless them - and all of us as well!

  4. For Our Guests • If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. • If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

  6. Prayer before Worship • Dear risen Savior, bless us as we worship you today. Strengthen us – and especially our mothers – through your Word and sacrament that we may remain in you until that day when we get to see you with our own eyes in heaven. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

Geraniums for Pentecost, May 24 • We are taking orders for potted geraniums to decorate the chancel for Pentecost Sunday from Rib Mountain Greenhouse for $5.00 each in memory of someone or for blessings received. Sign up at the Information Center on the appropriate order sheet and indicate the number of flowers.

  10. Men’s Club • Annual trip fellowship trip to Redeemer Lutheran in Tomahawk • Monday, June 1st at 6:00pm • Car Pool leaves the school lot at 5pm • Registration sheets are located in the Information Center in the north entryway

  11. “Page Flippers” • Monday, May11th • 7:00pm • Fireside room • May’s book Winter Garden” by Kristin Hannah. • We have chosen to read the five books in “The Walk” series by Richard Paul Evans over the summer.
