  1. Cyber is essential Cyber attacks are increasing rapidly year over year, with a 50% increase in 2021 alone according to a recent report by Check Point Research (CPR). This means that cyber security must become part of day to day operations of any business. You have to actively protect your data from ever increasing threats or you risk reputational damage and fines for breaches such as those related to GDPR. Furthermore, you are expected to meet certain cyber security standards just to be able to do business with many customers such as the UK Government which mandates Cyber Essentials certification for any supplier. This means that Cyber is essential for any modern organisation. What does good look like?
