Welcome toSt. Peter! • October 31st has come to be known in our country only for the Halloween holiday. • As Lutherans we recognize the greater meaning of this date. • In 1517, Martin Luther nailed 95 theses (statements) on the church door in Wittenberg objecting to the sale of indulgences as payment for sin. • This marked the beginning of the Reformation and Lutherans have inherited its blessings ever since!
