  1. California –Intermountains By : Anja, Jacob, and Alex

  2. Tribes The tribes that lived in the intermountain’s were called the Pomos, Shoshones, Miwoks, Paiutes.

  3. Shelter The Pomos used redwood trees to build cone shaped homes. The pomos were nomadic so the cone shape helped them take down and put up the houses.

  4. Other information • Most of the landscape is the desert that has limited rainfall and few plants and animals that live there.

  5. Clothes They wore necklaces with beads made out of clamshells.

  6. Tools/misc They wove beautiful baskets decorated and them with shells beads and feathers.
