  3. The Church needs dreamers • Planners, men of vision • Prov.29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish” Dream

  4. Dreams [goals] • 200 + membership • More elders & deacons • Baptizing one per week • Improved educational program • Mission work supported • More benevolence

  5. A Grateful Church Thanksgiving is a command Col. 3:17 1 Thes 5:18 Much for which to be thankful Material blessings Family Spiritual blessings

  6. A Faithful Church Lack of knowledge destroys –Hos.4:6 Command to know – Eph. 5:17 Must study – II Tim. 2:15 Jesus makes a difference A praying Church

  7. A Loving Church Mark of discipleship – Jn. 13:34-35 Seen in action – 1 Jn. 3:16-18 A Church Helping People

  8. A Soul-Saving Church Emphasis in the early church Must be aware of the mission Seek and save - Luke 19:10 Soul saving Teaching Encouraging Restoring

  9. A Stedfast Church Always doing the Lord’s Work 1 Cor. 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

  10. Gal. 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” II John 9 “He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”
