  2. What Do I Owe This Local Church? Realizing Our Debt • The concept of the “social gospel” - “what does this church owe ME?” • My Lord does not owe ME (Lk.17:5-10) • What can I provide? (He.10:24-25) • We owe a lifelong debt to the Lord • We owe Him our lives (2Co.5:14-15) • We owe Him our bodies as a living sacrifice (Ro.12:1) Brett W. Hogland

Offering Our Lives • In the local church (1Pe.2:5) • The church is clearly described as the realm wherein we glorify God (Ep.3:21) • Therefore Local Church Membership Is To Be Sought • Working together collectively (Ac.2:41-44) • Paul tried to join the disciples (Ac.9:26-28) • Paul & Barnabas in Antioch (Ac.11:25-26) Brett W.
