WebConnect is a part of SubFinder's advanced series of web-related products that allows substitutes to check for available jobs, review current jobs, manage personal information, and more. Accessible from any computer with an internet connection, WebConnect complements the telephone operation of SubFinder by providing immediate data availability.

  2. WebConnect • Substitutes can: • Check for Available Jobs • Review Current Jobs already booked • Check Personal Information • Add a Do Not Disturb or make yourself Unavailable • Log out of the system

  3. How does it work? • WebConnect works in conjunction with your SubFinder system and complements the telephone operation of SubFinder. • All data is immediately available for use by either telephone or WebConnect.

  4. How do I access it? • Access SubFinder from any computer with an Internet connection. • From home, office, library, or anywhere • Simply enter your District’s Web address and click on the WebConnect link. • http://www.pvsd.k12.ca.us/webconnect/login/ login.asp (for substitutes) • This will bring you to the log in screen for WebConnect.

  5. Log In • To log in simply enter your Last Name as it is entered into the SubFinder system and your Pin Number • Click on Submit • The welcome window will appear showing the menu options: • Available Jobs • Current Jobs • Personal Info • DND/Unavailable • Log Out

  6. Viewing available jobs • If your District allows substitutes to job shop • WebConnect will display all available jobs for which you qualify • To accept a job click onJob ID Number • To review Special Instructions and/or SiteDirectionsclick on the hyper links available • Click on Accept Job or Don’t Accept Job • If you accept, a message will say Job Successfully Selected and give you the job number

  7. Viewing current jobs • This will display all of your current assignments including Job ID, Dates, Times, Site, Position and Employee Name • You may review Special Instructions and Site Directions

  8. Personal Information • You will see several tabs: • General Information • Address • Certifications • Availability

  9. General Information • Displays: • Your Name • ID number • Pin number • Total days worked • Total certified job days worked • Hire date • Date added into the SubFinder system • Whether you are a certified or classified substitute

  10. Address Information • Displays: • Your address • Your telephone number • You may change your telephone number as needed to allow you to continue get phone calls from SubFinder • Address changes should be reported to the proper personnel office

  11. Certifications • Displays: • Any certifications you may have and the expiration dates • Report any updates regarding certifications to the District office • Your district may not use the certification feature.

  12. Availability • Displays your availability to work as a substitute during your normal work week • You may limit your availability and/or total unavailability on a given day • Your district may choose to use this feature in a view only capacity.

  13. DND/Unavailable • To add or review a Do Not Disturb or an Unavailable date or date range Click on DND/ UNAVAILABLE • To view one that you have already created, enter the date or date range, select the type and click on, Review • To add a new record, click on Add a Record

  14. Log Out • When you are ready to leave WebConnect click on Log Out • To log back in click on Click Here To Log In Again
