Definition • What is Digital Marketing ? “Digital marketing” is the process of building and maintaining customer relationships through online activities to generate sales and capture customers that are searching on the Internet for answers. Digital marketing is an umbrella term for the marketing of productsor services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.

It suggests a shift in the traditional methods of marketing. It is now common for consumers to post feedback online through social media sources, blogs, and websites about their experience with a product or brand.
