Only 337 organ donors, gave 1001 Australian’s a new chance in life...

  9. 16 – 20 April 2012

  10. Zaidee’s Physical Feats • ZPF has been created with a view to raising awareness and a notion that encourages Mass Participation of the student body, across all campuses in a non-competitive environment. • Through accepting a “physical feat”, the campaign is designed to get students active, and thinking about the campaign message “healthy bodies have healthy organs”. • A ‘Physical Feat’ can be anything from taking a stroll to playing a sport or throwing a frisbee! ZPF’s is all about getting active, meeting new people and enjoying a healthy work/ study/ social life balance

  11. Health Hour • Mid-way through the week (Wednesday 18th April to be exact) ZPF’s participates will stop normal activity and meet for an organised Mass Participation event. • Health Hour will be open to all registered students, staff, alumni and community. • In 2012, on most campuses, the Mass Participation event will be a walk, jog or run around campus or a local sporting field, lead by one of Zaidee’s elite sporting ambassadors.

  12. Partner Members and TAFE Institutes ZPF’s will be conducted as a pilot health promotion campaign in the South region only for 2012. Australian Catholic University Monash University Box Hill Institute University of Tasmania Holmesglen University of Ballarat La Trobe University Victoria University Swinburne University of Technology

  13. How to get involved • Participants can get involved from as little as $2 – a “pocket change” moment. • For this they will receive a set of Zaidee’s Rainbow Shoelaces to be worn throughout the campaign, during the Week and also during Health Hour. The collective “mass participation” moment will be defined by those wearing the laces around campus – creating a real sense of “community”. • Participants will be directed to the ZPF rego page built on the NCD, via the ZPF’s website, phone app, facebook, posters and brochures.

  14. Engaging participants • Participants are encouraged to post a photo on the ZPF’s Facebook page and “tag” themselves wearing their laces while performing a “physical feat”. - Most ‘votes’ win • Zaidee’s ambassadors will appear on participating campuses ‘at random’ handing out spot prizes to those wearing the rainbow shoelaces. • ZPF’s corporate partner, MSHF personal training, will be providing free PT session on campus during health week. (campus dependant)
