  1. Rickets is an abnormal bone formation in children resulting from inadequate calcium in their bones. Mostly effects kids children who have low vitamin D levels due to poor diet. Rickets

  2. Signs of Rickets include: curved bones, big lumpy joints, bowed legs, and the soft spot on the baby’s head is slow to close.

  3. Striae • Commonly called stretch marks. • Look like bands, stripes, or lines • Caused by rapid weight gain

  4. CAUSES: • PUBERTY • PREGNANCY • OBESITY • OVER USE OF CORTISONE SKIN CREAMS
