  1. Healthy Soil Performs Five Vital Functions: • Regulates water - Soil helps control where rain, snowmelt, and irrigation water goes. Water and dissolved solutes flow over the land or into and through the soil. • Sustains plant and animal life - The diversity and productivity of living things depends on soil. • Filters potential pollutants - The minerals and microbes in soil are responsible for filtering, buffering, degrading, immobilizing, and detoxifying organic and inorganic materials, including industrial and municipal by-products and atmospheric deposits. • Cycles nutrients - Carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and many other nutrients are stored, transformed, and cycled in the soil. • Supports structures - Buildings need stable soil for support, and archeological treasures associated with human habitation are protected in soils.

Increasing Plant Health University Trial on Cacao at HawaiiWindward Community College, Hawaii Trial Summary The results below are from a study which was conducted by Dave Ringuette, Professor at University of Hawaii Windward Community College.  He studied the effects of a product containing SumaGrow on Cacao, from seed, in potted plants, in a shade house.  The only difference in the plant treatment was the SumaGrow product. The SumaGrow treated plants went from a mean height of 5.9 inches to 12.6 inches which equals a growth increase of 114% while the non-treated plants went from 6.5 inches to 9.3 inches which equals a growth increase of 43%. Professor Ringuette noted observationally the water only plants had approximately 15% more mealy bug and beetle damage.

  26. Agriculture is the single largest user of freshwater and is a major cause of degradation of surface and groundwater resources through erosion and chemical runoff.   29. Trial Summary A rancher in Mississippi who uses chicken litter as his primary source of nutrients for his cattle pastures asked Bio Soil Enhancers, Inc. (BSEI) to test the effect of a product containing SumaGrow on phosphorous (P) removal from his soil. He sent samples of his soil to Bio Soil to determine if SumaGrow products would aid in the removal of P as his soil phosphorous exceeded the allowable limits (15 ppm) for using chicken litter as a source of fertilizer in the State of Mississippi. The technology of SumaGrow can mobilize and solubilize phosphorous (P) at both high and low soil pH environments and help make it available for plant uptake. SumaGrow reduced his phosphorus by 65.67%!
