  • 8 time zones

  • 25 million people

  • 9 official languages

  • Shared history, culture

  • Large part of Europe

  • Together, the world’s 7th largest economy

  • NORDUnet shall provide a common world-class network infrastructure, services, support and collaboration platform for the Nordic NRENs and research and education community.

  • NORDUnetshall facilitate other common eInfrastructure as requested by the Nordic national eInfrastructure stakeholders.

    • Science is global, the collaborations we serve are global

  • We must offer a full range of network services – best effort, circuits, and whatever in between

  • We cannot succeed alone

    • We must work together in open forums and global partnerships

    • NORDUnet looks forward to working with our Asian partners to keep NRENs vital towards 2020
