Instead of eating a portion of red meat, cut it into half and eat only lean meat. Or better yet, go for white meat such as chicken or fish. It keeps your body strong to take on the task of being a new mom. Before eating, drink one glass of water for two reasons. First, it fills you up so you easily get full and second it aids in your digestion. Most people go on everyday feeling slightly lethargic. Little did they know that it is also caused by dehydration. If you are feeling tired, drink one glass of water. Experts also suggest that those who are on a diet should drink cold water if they are feeling hungry. This keeps metabolism busy without adding some calories. Cold water is more difficult to burn. Be more realistic in your exercise plans. Just like what they said, do not bite off more than you can chew. If you do not have the time for two or three hours of yoga class, then don't squeeze it in your schedule. Otherwise, there are more instances where you won't show up. A more realistic exercise routine helps you stay true to your goals. This way, you can have successful weight loss after delivery.
