Areas of Refinement in the Model • Quality Monitoring and Management • Now a part of Cisco and will be handled by Cisco Quality Managers (Internal Cisco role). • Academy Support Center • A new support entity created to ensure that Academies receive the right level of communications and support on baseline services. • Community-Led Activities • Collaborative in person and online activities that the NetAcad community leads instead of Cisco. Some of these activities will be funded through innovation grants and others are expected to grow organically. • NetAcad Resource Partner • Next level of detail on the NetAcad Resource Partner which includes subtypes, qualifying, minimum standards, offerings and success metrics. ASC offerings to include: • Onboarding activities • Ensuring Academies understand their responsibilities • Support during course versioning • LMS assistance • Assist with questions regarding vouchers, leadership engagement, recognition and online communities • Localizing critical communications • Help with understanding reporting • Help Academies locate Networking Academy resources • Benefits: • Consistent Communication Channel targeted at Academy Administrators • Thriving Academies Cisco Internal Only

Academy Support CenterQualification requirements and minimum standards Any institution can qualify to be an ASC if they meet the following requirements: • ASCs must share their financial model with Cisco as part of the qualification process (fee or for free) • ASC Advisors must attend regularly scheduled Cisco Support Advisor Webinars • Demonstrate an ability to offer required baseline services • One active ASC contact to engage with Cisco on administrative and contractual requirements • Minimum two Academy Advisors to support Academies (primary and secondary, may not require full-time staffing) • Must accept online membership agreement • Yearly renewal qualification based on meeting above and below mentioned standards (Draft): • Maintain at least x customer satisfaction rating Cisco Internal Only

ASC Business Rules for Ongoing Operations • An ASC can offer their services globally • Academies can choose any ASC • ASCs may or may not charge their Academies • ASCs may or may not require their Academies to sign an agreement • ASCs must have the ability to accept or decline support to an Academy Cisco Internal Only

Community-Led ActivitiesMinimum Standards for Cisco support of Community-Led Activities • Community-Led, Collaborative Activities must align to Cisco Networking Academy goals • Any Cisco-funded community-led activities must have SMART goals that can be measured • Cisco Roles for Online Community are Required • Examples of Grant Opportunities • Create webinar content on targeted topics • Event Speakers on targeted topics • Event Sponsorship on targeted events • Note: Field will be given a portion of the annual grant budget for them to use for community-led activities or NRP services in their region

NetAcad Resource PartnerMinimum Standards • All NRPs must be approved by Cisco and sign an annual online membership agreement. • (Agreement will differ depending on type of NRP and the service territory) • To participate in the program, NRP must have philanthropic education goals that align to Cisco’s and offer Academies special discounted offers based on this mission of giving back to the community. • Must adhere to Cisco branding guidelines Additional Standards for NRPs who “sell” • Post service offerings online and refresh at least every 12 months • Maintain customer satisfaction metric of x CISCO CLA ASC NRP ITC CNA Students
