FAA CRASHWORTHINESS RESEARCH PROGRAM

The FAA Crashworthiness Research Program aims to reduce or prevent occupant injuries/fatalities in severe crash impacts. It focuses on seat/restraint systems, fuel containment, cabin delethalization, cabin interiors, fuel systems, crash environment, aircraft structures, occupant protection, and analytical modeling.
