Setting Reading Goals

In the 2012-13 school year, we focus on setting reading goals to maximize success. Reflect on last year's achievements: Did you read 100 books? Meet your AR goal? Participate in the Ice Cream Social? Are you eager to achieve these again this year? Together, we’ll strategize how to reach our goals by using the I-PICK method: I choose, Purpose (persuade, inform, entertain), Interest (I love...), Comprehend (I understand what I read), and Know (five words!). Let's make this year successful!
