  6. Which Bangla year is this? Which New Year is Masum taking about? 2.1406 1.Banga New year When are you going to celebrate PahelaBaishakh this year? 3.In the middle of April

  7. Listen tome, Now, Iam showing and some sentences according to text book. By staff Correspondent Today is PahelaBaishak, the first day of Bangla New Year 1406. The day will be celebrated with traditional festivities across the country. The day is a public holiday. In keeping with the age-tradition, traders and shopkeepers will open halkhata and offer sweets to their customers and clients. Different socio-cultural organizations have drawn up elaborate programmers' to celebrate the day . The day’s first program me will began at dawn at Ramanabatamul. Chhayanat, a leading cultural organization, will organize the program me. A large number of people wearing traditional dresses are expected to attend the programme. Bangladesh television will telecast live programme from 6 in the morning.

  9. Meaning Celebrate:to do something special to show at a day. Procession:a line of people moving slowly as a part of a ceremony. Festoon:a piece of material, used specially for decoration. Banner:a display of some mssage written on a large piece of fabric.

  12. Group Work Now, I make some group like A,B,C,D and E. Imagine, you are going to celebrate PahelaBaishakh at your school premises. Make a list of activities you want to arrange the festivity. e.g. selecting place , collecting funds etc. Now, A,B,C,D and E group write 5 sentences on activities on celebration of PahelaBaishakh.
