    2. Pretermine: neonati di “basso peso” Sono considerati pretermine i parti avvenuti prima della 37sima settimana di gestazione. Se inferiori a 2500 grammi: AGA(Adeguate for Gestional Age), con peso adeguato all’età gestazionale; SGA(Small for Gestional Age), con peso non adeguato all’età gestazionale.

    3. Possiamo distinguere tra: GRANDI PRETERMINE (nati al di sotto delle 32 settimane) PICCOLI PRETERMINE (nati al di sopra delle 32 settimane)

    4. Percentuali delle nascite premature: In Italia, è circa il 7% delle gravidanze a non raggiungere il termine di gestazione di 40 settimane, ed incorre in un parto pretermine.

    5. Cause delle nascite pretermine: Fumo materno Assunzione di droghe Abuso di alcool Malattie materne Nascite multiple Denutrizione Eccessivo stress materno
