  3. What to Wear What to wear for girls is a leotard and shorts. You need to have your hair up. You can wear the same things for each event.

  4. What to wear. .

  5. Bars There are many different things you can do on bars. They are wooden. The bars are a very long cylinder. The small bar is as tall as three TVs stacked on top of each other. The high bar is really high it’s as tall as a door. Sometimes you just use the low bar sometimes you use both. Together they are the uneven bars.

  6. Diagram of the bars Low bar High bar wires wire block Sometimes you just have a low bar sometimes you can have both.

  7. Bars These are the uneven bars. These are the parallel bars.

  8. Vault Vault is the hardest event. It is like a big table. You have a springboard in front of it to get more power. You put your hands on the vault when you are flippingand you fly into the air.

  9. Beam The beam is a very cool event. It is 4 inches wide. You can do flips on it. It’s medal underneath the casing. There is a floor beam. It is on the floor. There is a low beam. It’s a little bit off the floor. The medium and big are really high.

  10. Beam This is Gabby Douglas on the beam.

  11. Floor The floor is a very hard event. It is a long blue carpet. There are long rectangles on the side they are the boundaries. The floor is bouncy because it has springs under it. You can go across when you are doing a routine like backflips, round offs or tumbling. Sometimes the floor has lines. The springs help you jump higher.

  12. floor The red is the boundary.

  13. Conditioning Conditioning is an awesome thing to do. It’s not an event to do or compete. It’s just so you can get better and stronger and more fit. It’s supposed to help you be a better gymnast. It will hurt when you do it the point is to make your muscles stronger. You should try not to stop in between things because if you stop its like you didn’t do anything at all. Conditioning is very important. Some people aren't good gymnasts because they do not do conditioning. Some things you do while conditioning is sit ups, pushups, jump rope etc.

  14. Gymnastics is an awesome sport! It has 4 events bars, beam, floor, and vault. Every single event is hard. There are so many things to do on each event. One of the main things to do on floor is round-off back handsprings. The other events don’t really have a main thing to do it depends on your level. In my opinion bars is the best event because it is my top favorite event to watch on the Olympics.

  15. Glossary • Bar a wooden long cylinder. • Floor a big area like carpet. • Beam is a long line high up 4in for the wideness. • Vault a big table that is held up by a big pole in the middle • Gymnastics is the most difficult sport. • Conditioning a good thing for your body.
