Justification of the required time: TAS

Justification of the required time: TAS. No of shifts : time required to have a minimum wish of 10 6 useful counts, taking into account the impurity of the beam, the EC/(EC+alpha) ratio, the planar efficiency (0.1), the K α flourescence yield of 0.49, and a rate of 5E3 counts/sec in the TAS.

  1. Justification of the required time: TAS No of shifts: time required to have a minimum wish of 106 useful counts, taking into account the impurity of the beam, the EC/(EC+alpha) ratio, the planar efficiency (0.1), the Kαflourescence yield of 0.49, and a rate of 5E3 counts/sec in the TAS

  2. Justification of the required time: coincidence of TAS&β-delayed particles No of required shifts: 3.0 for 188Pb 9.2 h is the time required to have a minimum wish of 2x103 useful counts, assuming a branching ratio of 10-5, and efficiency of 0.3 for a particle detector and a counting rate of 10 000 counts/s in the TAS

  3. Justification of the required time: high resolution measurement for 188Pb No of required shifts: 2 Assuming using 3 Ge detectors with efficiencies of ~ 0.01, a transmission of 0.5 up to the high resolution setup and the typical ISOLDE current of 2μA
