  3. Spring School-Wide Data Team Meeting FYI • Money to fund half-day meetings available. Contact Ewan or Joyce Letcher. • Assessment Window is May 14 – June 5 • R&E will crunch numbers for DIBELS and easyCBM Reviewing Outcomes and Summary of Effectiveness on June 8

Spring School-Wide Data Team Meeting • Create Data Overview & Dig Into Student Data • Reports: • Reviewing Outcomes Winter to Spring • Summary of Effectiveness Winter to Spring • Develop Fall Action Plan • Review: • Zone Schools: Fall Planning Worksheets (from spring grade-level team meetings) • OR RtI Schools: Healthy Systems Checklist • Creating Fall Action Plan .

Reviewing Outcomes Worksheet by Grade Level • Discussion Questions: • Is there a significant increase in the percentage of students performing at or above benchmark or low risk from Winter to Spring at each grade level? • Is there a significant decrease in the percentage of students performing well below or high risk from Winter to Spring at each grade level?

  6. Reviewing Outcomes Worksheet by Race/Program • As you discuss the following questions, utilize the first two conditions of Courageous Conversations Protocol, taking into consideration both your race and the race of your students: • Is there a significant increase in the percentage of students in each racial group performing at or above benchmark or low risk from Winter to Spring at each grade level? • Is there a significant decrease in the percentage of students in each racial group performing well below or high risk from Winter to Spring at each grade level? • Locate yourself on the Courageous Conversations Compass at the beginning, middle and end of discussion. Be ready to discuss your path.

  7. Summary of Effectiveness Worksheet • Did students who were “At or Above Benchmark or Low Risk” remain “At or Above Benchmark or Low Risk” ? • Did students who were “Below Benchmark or Some Risk” move to “At or Above Benchmark or Low Risk” ? • Did students who were “Well Below Benchmark or High Risk” move to “Below Benchmark or Some Risk” or “At or Above Benchmark or Low Risk”?

  8. Prioritizing Grade Levels and Tiers that Need Support • Using the Summary of Effectiveness Worksheet, identify grade levels and tiers in need of support • Use the following guidelines to prioritize support using the lens of equity • Strengthen Core – Tier I & II • Intervene in early grades first • Once grade level/tiers have been identified, use the Healthy Systems Checklist to determine specific areas you will address in your Action Plan Guidelines 95% Low Risk 50% or more Some Risk 25% or more High Risk Zone schools use Fall Planning Worksheet from grade-level team meetings
