  1. Message The World Is Tormented. A lot of Christians get demonic vexation (oppression, harassment, torment and troubling by evil spirits) and spiritual warfare confused. Many of God's children live their lives being troubled by evil spirits simply because they think it's normal and consider it spiritual warfare. I have news for you, I see people break free from what most people live their lives battling with, because they recognized the vital difference and sought the help they needed to break free! Notice that Jesus went about healing (setting free and making whole) ALL who oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38)? That tells us clearly that it is not 'normal' to be tormented, oppressed or harassed by evil spirits.

  2. Mark 5: 1-20 • As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis[b] how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

  3. 6 stages of the demons in us 1. Regression When you experience regression, you "go back" in our relationship with God We are no longer close with God If we are moving away from God

  4. Cont 2. Repression to keep (feelings, etc.) under control; suppress or restrain to repress a desire. We start to be boredby the things of God. We are stagnant, no moving.

  5. Cont • Suppression to stop the activities of God. What used to happen inside me is no longer happening. No longer interested in the things of God. The more we are interested in the devil’s activities the more we lose interest in God. • .

  6. Cont 1 Peter 5:7 • Depression A mental state characterized by a pessimistic sense of inadequacy and a despondent lack of activity. When the preacher is preaching we no longer hear anything. The cure is to surrender to Crist.

  7. Cont • Oppression Unjust or cruel exercise of authority or power. We are no longer carrying the lighter yoke of Christ. We are carrying the yoke of the devil which is heavier on us.

  8. Cont • Obsession we are obsessed with Christ. We are very mad with the word of God. Christ is living within us. We don’t fight our battles, we throw everything to Jesus.

  9. Cont • POSSESSION • Control over oneself, one's mind. • The devil speak through this person.
