  4. Globalization: Migration One of the measures of globalization is the movement of people. There are many reasons for the movement of people, migration, employment, education, refugees, tourism, and trade. Migration can affect a country’s economy in various ways. • A country may experience losses and gains • Brain Drain • Loss of laborers, gain of laborers, competition for jobs, etc... Migration can, also, affect a society’s culture in different ways.
