  1. Pourquoi le français? French 6th grade (Why French?) On the paper I gave you, in English, please write the reason or reasons you wanted to study French this year at Piedmont with me? With Madame Joseph

  2. Pourquoi le français? What: This is a project for which you will research reasons that the study of (learning) French is important. How: You have your own reason you decided to take French, that will be one reason that you will use in this project. For the other 10 reasons you may use the INTERNET for your search, please use reliable sites….(.edu or .org or .gov are going to be your best sources). For each of the reasons that you choose from your research (you will find a lot more than 10!) use pictures to represent those reasons…NO WORDS!!! Please continue onto next slide!

  3. Pourquoi le français? • HOW should you show this?: • You will be creating a book with pictures that represent all of those reasons. JUST PICTURES. Image that you are promoting French for someone who cannot read English (or French or Spanish, etc.). You have to SHOW THEM why they should study the beautiful language of French. • SHOW ME…DO NOT TELL ME that you under- • stand the reasons through pictures ONLY!

If they are already in the book, then take that out. ●Then, on the paper that I have give you, write me a quick summary of your project so far (yes, short and sweet with bullets is fine!).
