  1. Name:____________________ Evaluation of Dish It is important in Food Technology that after making anything we evaluate our work. You should think about and write a sentence or two for each of the points below: How did you prepare for the practical ?(e.g. shopping for an item, measuring out at home etc) Did you have any problems? (e.g. turning the oven on, sautéing the onions, dicing the onions) What skills did you or your group need to use in making this dish? (e.g. dicing, using hobs, etc) How did your dish turn out? (look at other peoples food in your class and compare your dish with theirs, comment on the taste and look of the dish) Explain why your dish was or was not successful (Did you miss out an ingredient, did you have problems in your group did you use a different ingredient) Did you check the quality of your food while it was cooking? (did you taste it to see if it needs more salt etc) Who worked in your group and what did they do?

  2. Evaluation Continued Could you have worked better as a team? How? If you made this again what could you do differently to improve? What ingredients did you use to make this dish? And what was their nutritional value? Could you have made this dish more nutritious? Explain how? Can you list the correct names of all the tools and equipment that you used in today's lesson?
