  2. Jane Austen lived and socialized in Bath for five of her life, which she observed the people and places, which were the inspiration for her lively wit and sharp satire. When her books were first published the author was unknown and listed as Written by a Lady. It was not until after her death that one of her brothers took her unpublished books and got them published did he reveal that Jane has actually written them.

  3. The following pictures were of the Jane Austen Center and its exhibition showcasing what would have been like in her time, at least the dress and such. In this picture, the background is the Circus, where Austen lived for a few months.
