    • Higher the better
    • Active and/or reserve

  • No LTB = negative to neutral message

  • Lengthy letters (350+ is the record)
  • Accusatory letters
  • “Excuses” for performance
  • Photocopying your entire service record
  • Glamour shots, including pet photos
  • Poor grammar, poor formatting
