Announced as of July 01, 2020, replacing Udyog Aadhaar. Definition and Purpose Provides a 16 digit Unique Identification Number (UID) by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

Criteria 01 02 Micro Business Investments up to Rs 1 crore and turnover of less than Rs 5 crore. Small Business: Investments up to Rs 10 crore and turnover of less than Rs 50 crore. Medium Business: Investments up to Rs 50 crore and turnover of less than Rs 250 crore. Investment and Turnover Limits Enterprises will be classified based on the given investment and turnover limits. MicroNot more than 5 Cr. turnover and not more than 1 Cr. investment. Small: Not more than 50 Cr. turnover and not more than 10 Cr. investment.
