IDEAS FOR PROCESS CHANGES (ACTION STEP): PRIMARY DRIVER: SECONDARY DRIVERS: Gather stories about positive and negative experiences that show why youth/families must be included Use personal stories Develop and make youth presentations Colorado Team’s Driver Diagram Contact Linda Sobeck and Deb Crook to get their help in getting providers to consider involving youth and families. (Pressure must come from inside Boulder and Summit communities.) drive AIM: By June 2010, the Boulder and Summit County teams will add non-token youth and family members to participate in the process of MH system establishment. Involve youth and families at every level drive drive Expect youth and family involvement Request that providers (team members) identify potential family and youth leaders to include drive Conduct adult/youth partnership trainings Look to school-based health clinics, statewide network (Anne Marie), etc. for potential candidates Identify youth and family leaders Provide support, training, mentors to youth and family members
