2. Stage 1: Capturing the Sun’s energy…….

3. Stage 1: Capturing the suns energy…. 1.) the first stage of photosynthesis involves capturing the energy in sunlight . 2.) In plants this energy capturing process occurs mostly in the leaves. 3.) The Green color comes from Pigments and they absorb the light.

4. Stage 2: Using Energy To make food.

5. Using energy to make food….. 1.) In this stage of photosynthesis the cell uses the captured energy to produce sugars. 2.) The other product of photosynthesis is oxygen, which exists the leaf through stomata. 3.) Inside the chloroplasts the water and carbon dioxide undergo a complex series of chemical reactions. .

6. Photosynthesis in Plant     Did you know that Photosynthesis is all around you because everywhere you go there’s trees, there’s plants and there’s sometimes even grass. So next time you are outside remember what I told you “ Photosynthesis is all around you”….

7. Questions: • How does the sun supply living things with the energy they need? • What happened during the process of Photosynthesis? 1.) Sun supply’s living things with energy they need by Directly or indirectly and also because the sun is the source of energy for most living things. 2.)During the process of Photosynthesis Oxygen is made and glucose by combining carbon dioxide and water using light energy as a source of Energy.
