Celebrating indigenous tourism experiences as a vehicle for cultural understanding, tolerance and peace • Establishing the role of Indigenous participation in enriching tourism and differentiating destinations.  • Learning from successful case studies and research on ways of assisting the development of Indigenous businesses and profitable tourism involvement. 5. Coincidentally, the theme for World Tourism Day 2011, i.e. Tourism linking Cultures is closely linked to the subject matter of the Conference.
