  1. CERTIFIED TRANSLATION SERVICES WWW.ACADESTUDIO.COM

  2. WHO CAN CERTIFY A TRANSLATION? The individual translator and a certifiedtranslation serviceprovider employee may certify their translations. A translator may also certify another translator's translation as long as the certified translation will not be altered after the certified translation has been thoroughly checked for correctness and completeness. An exact, true, and full translation of the source text must be attested by the translator for the translation to be certified. To prevent manipulation or misuse, the translator or the certifying authority should initialize and stamp each translation page.

  3. HOW MUCH DOES AN ONLINE TRANSLATION SERVICE COST? Word count and hourly rate often determine the cost of online translation services. You can also pay a document translation fee based on the number of pages. One document page may cost between $10 and $100 to translate. The translation prices will vary subject to the translator. The majority of translation costs, however, fall between $0.10 and $0.50 per word. This denotes that the price of a 1000-word document could range from $100 to $500.

  4. WHY USE A CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR? Youcannotbe certain that the documenthas been translated accuratelyorthat it will even bereadable if the translator is not certified. Thepersondoing the translation may lack the proficiency totranslate complex materials like medicalrecords. Given the highly technicalnatureof the contentand the severerepercussionsthat could result fromamistranslation, mostlegal papers will need tobe officially translated. Someexamples include affidavits, trial transcripts, contracts, oranything else that mustgo viaalegalorgovernmentalagency.

  5. CAN I TRANSLATE WITHOUT BEING CERTIFIED? A translator does not need to be certified to deliver a certified translation service. The individual translator and an employee of a translation agency may certify their translations. A translator may also certify another translator's translation as long as the certified translation will not be altered after the certified translation has been thoroughly checked for correctness and completeness. Because of this, translation agencies can certify any translations produced by their personnel or independent contractors. Whether the signer has evaluated the translation or translated it themselves must be specified in the certification statement.

  6. WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN A CERTIFIED TRANSLATION STATEMENT? The following details must be present in a certification statement. • A description of the translator's credentials. • A declaration endorsing the document's correctness and completeness. • The language and identification of the translated text. • The name, date, and signature of the translator. ATA provides both a short form and a long form of a sample certification. Use the abbreviated form for translations that don't need to be notarized. The long form can also be used when more specific information is needed, and the short form is inadequate. It is designed for certifications that need to be notarized.
