  4. Define: Preconception • What did your group come up with? • An idea or opinion formed before having the evidence for its truth.

  5. Photographer Robert Leon -Look at the photos in the folder on your desk. -Use the back of your worksheet to analyze these four photos. Write down a few words or a sentence about each using this lens: Do you recognize some of the cultures that Leon is trying to represent here? What are the things that help you in making this identification?

  13. The Sneetches Today, we’re going to watch a clip of a cartoon by Dr. Seuss titled “The Sneetches.” In this short clip, there are lots of issues related to prejudice and preconception. Use the questions on your worksheet to guide your thinking. Write down some answers to these questions as you watch.
