A new 164-room Army lodging facility will be constructed in Wiesbaden, Germany, replacing the leased American Arms Hotel. Designed for short-term business travelers and families on permanent change of station, the facility will feature standard Army Lodging furnishings, data ports, and high-speed internet connectivity. Public areas will include a continental breakfast space and guest laundry facilities. The project, awarded on May 7, aims for completion by FY09 and is a part of the IMCOM improvement plan for Europe.

This new facility is to replace a leased facility, the American Arms Hotel.. The guest rooms will be configured for short term business travelers, and families on permanent change of station. This operation offers guest rooms with standard Army Lodging furnishings and amenities to include data ports and high speed internet connectivity.
