  2. Problem Statement • Houses and structures in general require an immense amount of energy to run and are rarely energy efficient. Water is an excellent renewable energy source that is ubiquitously available and can be used as energy in a wide variety of structures.

Identify Criteria and Constraints • Must demonstrate enhanced math / science knowledge • Must complete a team Engineering Notebook which is updated daily • Project (prototype, technical report, powerpoint) must be complete by end of class on 5/7/12. • Must ensure that the house is safe since water and electricity will be present. • Max dimensions for the house are 2’x2’x2’ • Any hot surfaces that can be touched must be labeled. • No water leaks can be present.
