Quality Assurance Common Mistakes

Quality assurance is the backbone of any successful business. To ensure customer satisfaction,

companies around the world used a wide range of system to measure the quality they provide to every

customer. This involves various testing like software testing, system testing, performance testing and a

this work in a way they are intended to rather than seeing this ruining your systems. Here some of these

common mistakes in quality testing and how you can possibly avoid them.

1.Quality testing cannot be measured on a single browser use only. Although not all browsers are

necessary to test, it is also better to check it with the common browsers that your company

uses. This widens your range of measurement and reliability to the test that you have launch.

2.During the testing procedure, it is very common for us to run the test several times. However,

as we try to do it over and over, we often forgot to delete the cache which would end up to

unreliable results. Without deleting the cache there is a big tendency to get the result from your

prior sessions which makes your testing procedure worthless.

3.Unable to confirm an updated IP address and domain is also one of the common mistakes in

quality testing. There should be a special version of your host’s file to ensure that you are doing

it on a right environment. This is necessary before running a testing.

4.For some browsers, enabling and disabling cookies are required for you to be able to use the

login and passwords. This issue should be attended to make sure that it will work without having

to change the status of your cookies. This is important to better check the functionalities.

5.Google Analytics provides the most common type of resolution that would best suit your need.

Changing the resolution while doing the testing should be avoided for it often attracts bugs

which would just ruin your testing procedure

6.For some company, it’s their intention to cut the costs, they do testing procedure manually on

their own while in fact there are a lot of testing devices or tools that can help them and give

them more reliable results. In reality, there are really some tests can cannot be done by doing it
