  3. Elements of A Picture There are many elements that go into a picture. The photo below shows an emotional woman crying. This photographer effectively shows her true human condition.
  4. A Picture worth a thousand…Pixels? Original Picture Pixilated Picture Pixels are single points in a graphic image. When small pictures are stretched, the pixels become distorted and may cause the subjects to be unclear or pixilated. Pictures should be used according to size and quality
  5. Fit For A Magazine The typical picture format requested by magazine editors are .tiff or Raw photos. These raw photos are the best format to use when editing elements of a photo.

  7. Add A Page to your blog! 1. Go to www.wordpress.com 2. Use your log in information and sign into your blog. 3. Click the My Dashboard button/link at the top of the page next to the My account Icon. 4. Under the post section on the left hand side click “Pages” 5. Select add new which is located next to the Edit Pages heading. 6. Type “About me” in the title box and your whole name in the big text box.7. Click Publish on the right side of the screen. 8. Click on your blog title in the top right hand side of the screen. 9. Your new page should appear at the top of the screen.

  10. Typography Is key! Do the fonts match the goals of the organization? Do the fonts match the mood of the publication? Is the font legible? Is the font size appropriate for the publication? Is the font color visible on the background?
