  3. Attendance • You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who'll decide where to go.Dr.Seuss • Every day counts • Every lesson counts • Days missed and lost time are proven to affect academic performance

  4. Punctuality • Just 5 more minutes in bed … ! • Punctuality counts • All references for college/employment don’t just ask about attendance, they ask about punctuality too.

Richard Branson • It will get harder as we get closer to GCSEs but perseverance is key.

  10. Rewards- Year Group Attendance: Monthly- 2 students with the best attendance over the course of that month, will be picked at random and will receive a £5 ‘love to shop’ voucher. Weekly- Every student above the 96% will receive an e praise point from JRL. Daily- Every pupil will receive an e praise point for: correct uniform, turning up on time, having their planner signed and having the correct equipment. Attendance, Attitude, Behaviour – Mind Set!

  11. Rewards- Year Group Most E praise points: Termly- Winning Tutor group will receive a hot chocolate and doughnut party. Weekly-Individuals - all students in the top 5 will receive a ticket and entered into a raffle, for a ‘BIG’ prize, drawn at the end of the year. Attendance, Attitude, Behaviour – Mind Set!

E praise- Whole School • Our school rewards system is designed to motivate students by recognising the great things they do. • Students are awarded praise points online, making things a lot quicker and easier than the traditional paper-based school reward systems. • “E praise is quite simply brilliant” (Teacher) Attendance, Attitude, Behaviour – Mind Set!

  16. Work Experience & Careers Guidance April 2015 All students expected to have placements agreed May 2015 Final arrangements Work experience takes place June Monday 29th - Friday July 10th. Pupils back in school week beginning 13th July Own placements.
