  2. Jakhu Ropeway Ropeway Timings The ropeway opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes around sunset. The closing timings change with the weather. The operations will halt in bad weather conditions. It is open throughout the week.

The ticket price for adults is Rs.476 for a two-way trip (exclusive GST) Children (3-12 years) can ride the gondola at Rs. 381 for a two-way trip. A one-way trip charges Rs. 257 and Rs. 200 for adults and children. Children below 3 years can enjoy the gondola ride for free.

  4. Safety Measures & Emergency Protocols The Jakhu ropeway incorporates international-level safety standards. It has continuous monitoring by CCTV cameras. The ropeway comprises 50 safety devices to ensure passenger safety. Mock drills are conducted on a regular basis to prepare staff for emergencies.
