Forms of CPD? • Courses, conferences, seminars • Gaining qualifications – subject or teaching practice • Peer coaching / mentoring /shadowing / team teaching / observation • Reading books, journals, internet,Teachers TV and other media • Contributing to academic journals, writing reports • Curriculum design and development • Sharing ideas and resources • Planning, running staff development opportunities • Examiner, verifier or assessor duties
