Riding Freedom By Pam Munoz Ryan PowerPoint By Casie Passmore
Setting and Plot It took place in the 1800’s. In the United States. The story is about a girl whose parents died when she was 2, and she was raised at an orphanage.
Conflicts • Her parents die. • Freedom dies • Vern dies
Ebenezer and Mr.Millshark • Mr.Millshark is very mean. • Ebenezer is nice. • Mr.Millshark hates charlotte. • Ebenezer loves her.
My Favorite Scene My favorite part is when Charlotte is driving a stage coach and she gets it stuck and makes Mr.Millshark get it out of the mud. She hides his boots from him, and gives them to Ebenezer.
Facts and Opinions • Charlotte runs away. • Freedom dies. • Ebenezer comes live with Charlotte. • Hayward should come live with Charlotte and Ebenezer. • Vern should have left with Charlotte. • Charlotte should have told people she was a girl and had children.
Book Recommendation People should read this book because it is good. It tells you that you can do whatever. I would change it by taking out the part where Freedom dies because it’s to sad. It is interesting because Charlotte is so brave.
