Google Docs allows users within GPISD to create word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Users can import and export documents to their favorite desktop and mobile programs as well as share them with other collaborators in real time. Google Docs.

  1. Google Docs allows users within GPISD to create word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Users can import and export documents to their favorite desktop and mobile programs as well as share them with other collaborators in real time. Google Docs

  2. Individual LTC account users can store up to 5,000documents and files are accessible by web browser, desktop software, and even smartphones.  Google Docs

Google Docs: An OverviewWord Processor • Enjoy intuitive features and editing, like any traditional word processors (Spell Check, Justification, Bold, Italics, Underline, Tables, Font Formatting, Headers & Footers, etc.) • Create basic documents from scratch or start from a template. • Upload your existing files from Microsoft 2003 or Rich Text Format (RTF). • Download documents to your desktop as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF, Personal Document File (PDF), HTML or ZIP. • Choose who can access, view, and even edit your documents to collaborate.

Google Docs: An OverviewWord Processor, Continued… • Each document can be up to 500 Kilobyte, plus up to 2 Megabyte per embedded image. • You have a combined limit of 5,000 documents and presentations and 5,000 images. • Anyone you've invited to either edit or view your document, spreadsheet or presentation can access it instantly, as soon as they sign in. • Edit and present with others in real time. • Email your documents out as attachments.

Google Docs: An OverviewSpreadsheets • Enjoy intuitive navigation and editing, like any traditional document or spreadsheet. • Import and export within MS-Excel, comma separated value (csv), .txt and .ods formatted data (and export functionality for .pdf and html). • Use formatting and formula editing in spreadsheets so you can calculate results and make your data look the way you want it.

  6. Google Docs: An OverviewSpreadsheets, Continued… • Each spreadsheet can be up to 256 columns, or up to 200,000 cells, or up to 100 sheets – whichever limit is reached first. There's no limit on number of rows. • You have a limit of 1,000 spreadsheets. The spreadsheets that are shared with you do not count against 1,000 limit. • The limit on spreadsheets open at one time is 11. • You can import spreadsheets up to approximately1 Megabyte in xls, csv, or ods, txt, tsv, tsb format.

Google Docs: An OverviewPresentations, Continued… • Presentations in both .ppt and .pps file formats from your local computer can be up to 10MB in size. • By entering the URL of a file on the Web, you can upload presentations up to 2MB. • By emailing in your files, you can upload presentations up to 500K. • You have a combined limit of 5,000 documents and presentations and 5,000 images.
