  1. A pictorial walkthrough AQTF 2010 SmartGuide

  2. After installing the AQTF 2010 SmartGuide you will see the desktop icon for the program. Double click the icon to open the AQTF 2010 SmartGuide .

  3. This is the Main Menu screen for the AQTF 2010 SmartGuide. Lets look at the buttons at the bottom.

  4. Clicking the Logo button brings up this logo box. Here you load your organisations logo and name into the program.

  5. Opens a Word Help file detailing how the program works. If you have a problem or query clicking this will open a new email message for you to send to us. Closes the program down, make sure your work is saved first!.

  6. Now we will select the Essential Standards 1 – 3 button.

  7. This takes us to the Essential Standards Menu screen which shows all 3 essential standards. We will click Standard 1.

  8. This is the work form for the Essential Standards. All text in the white boxes is editable. All content has been designed to fully address each requirement point within the essential standards. We will look at each area of the work form in detail.

  9. The first thing to notice is that there are two tabs at the top, one to cover the Essential Standards for Continuing RTOs and one to cover the Essential Standards for New RTOs. The program will always open with the Continuing RTO tab on top.

  10. Use this control to navigate easily between each Essential Standard.

  11. Using the Navigator to move easily between each element within each Essential Standard.

  12. Double clicking the blue form name opens the example forms provided (over 30 included). Clicking the Link button allows you to link your forms to the program.

  13. Clicking the Quality Outcomes button opens this work form to monitor quality outcomes as part of the AQTF requirements

  14. Detail the Quality Outcomes you are trying to achieve over time. Monitor progress against Quality Outcomes over time. Quality Outcomes Form Detail the outcomes from the review monitoring. Enter the date the review was conducted.

  15. Returning to the Main Menu we will select the Conditions of Registration button.

  16. This takes us to the Conditions of Registration Menu screen which shows all 9 conditions. We will click Condition 1.

  17. This is the work form for the Conditions of Registration. All text in the white boxes is editable. All content has been designed to fully address each Paragraph requirement within each condition. We have done this as each paragraph requires something different.

  18. For consistency of design and use we have kept the form elements the same as the Essential Standards form. Continuing RTO on top as default. Use this to move easily between each of the 9 Conditions. Use the Navigator to move between each paragraph for each Condition.

  19. Clicking the Review Conditions button opens this work form to monitor the conditions of registration as part of your continuous improvement.

  20. Details the Review areas for each Condition. Monitor progress against each review area / item over time. Review Conditions Form Detail the outcomes / improvements from the review monitoring. Enter the date the review was conducted.

  21. PRINTING

  22. All work forms have a print button. Clicking the print button takes you to the Print Preview window.

  23. The organisation name and logo you save into the program will show here when you print.

  24. You also have many print or export options available to use.
