What is ePerformance? • A University-wide web-based performance management tool designed to • streamline the performance management process • be fully integrated with core employee data in PeopleSoft • All employees will be using the same forms, processes and overall ratings across the university • 12,000 Administrative and Professional employees and Staff (including HUCTW) • 4,000 managers (including Faculty Managers)

University-wide Implementation Timeline HKS, Library HHR, HUIT, FAD, CS HBS, HSPH FAS HMS, HSDM, HLS, RAD, HGSE, Other Central Admin Units SEAS, HDS, GSD • FY13/FY14 – System implementation • Fall 2012 – Scope definition • Spring 2013 – Planning & Design • Summer 2013 – Build & Test • FY14 – Phased rollout • FY15 – First full university-wide performance cycle

Project Guidelines • Encourage a strong ongoing participation from all the schools and units • Streamline the process by moving to university-wide forms • Provide flexibility to the schools whenever possible • Expose users to the system early and often (Agile-ish methodology) • Minimize customizations • Adopt existing and new PeopleSoft functionality • Follow the existing PeopleSoft release management process • Respect the business cycle of performance management • Leverage Harvard’s experience and expertise in training and change management • Project timeline:
