  2. 1. The Orton Gillingham tutoring has been used to teach children with language-based learning disabilities since the early 1900s. Learn the Orton Gillingham method 2. One of the most important aspects of this method is the use of multisensory instruction to ensure that learning takes place in all three of the major learning modes (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic). 3.
