    3. We commenced our study of the Assemblies of God denomination with their doctrine touching on Spirit baptism and with this lesson we shall conclude this series by looking at their premillennial doctrine of the 1000 year reign. We commenced our study of the Assemblies of God denomination with their doctrine touching on Spirit baptism and with this lesson we shall conclude this series by looking at their premillennial doctrine of the 1000 year reign.

    4. A.G’s End-Time Timeline In previous lessons, we showed from the scriptures that the premillennial idea of the rapture is ruptured, the great tribulation tanked, and the doctrine of multiple resurrections cannot rise with any scriputural credibility. Yet, the Assemblies of God denomination states to all who would be converted to that system that they do not assert opinion beyond clear statements of scripture. [CLICK] This lesson will bring an end to our study of the Assemblies of God as well as the premillennial portion of that. We want to ask “Will there be a 1000 year reign on earth?” In previous lessons, we showed from the scriptures that the premillennial idea of the rapture is ruptured, the great tribulation tanked, and the doctrine of multiple resurrections cannot rise with any scriputural credibility. [CLICK] This lesson will bring an end to our study of the Assemblies of God as well as the premillennial portion of that. We want to ask “Will there be a 1000 year reign on earth?”

    5. 1000 year earthly reign? only one chapter of the entire Bible speaks of a 1000 year reign (Rev. 20:1-10) that specific chapter is in a book that is supposed to be understood in code “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants––things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John” (Rev. 1:1, NKJV) premillennialists need to tell us what a 1000 year reign signifies [CLICK X4][CLICK X4]

    6. 1000 year earthly reign? a 1000 year reign in Revelation 20 doesn’t mention the second coming of Christ in association with it it doesn’t mention a “bodily” resurrection it doesn’t mention Christ on earth it doesn’t mention a literal throne on earth it doesn’t mention Jerusalem it doesn’t mention “us” . . . “they lived and reigned”

    7. “LAST DAYS” & THE 1000 YEAR REIGN scripture speaks of us being in the “last days” since the New Testament time “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son. . .” (Heb. 1:1, 2, NKJV, cf. Acts 2:16, 17) if there is a new 1000 year dispensation of time coming, then we cannot be in the “last days”

    8. Three Questions Can Jesus reign on earth in Jerusalem? Can Jesus sit on David’s Throne in heaven? Is Jesus already reigning in the kingdom?

    9. Jesus Cannot Reign On Earth KING JECONIAH, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Write this man down as childless, A man who shall not prosper in his days; For none of his descendants shall prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling anymore in Judah’” (Jer. 22:30, NKJV) “childless” as pertaining to having a child sit on the throne shall not prosper none of his descendants shall prosper sitting on throne and ruling in Judah Childless is to be understood as having a child sit on the throne and it doesn't mean that he would not have any descendants as per the notion that "none of his descendants shall prosper. . .“ [CLICK]Childless is to be understood as having a child sit on the throne and it doesn't mean that he would not have any descendants as per the notion that "none of his descendants shall prosper. . .“ [CLICK]

    10. Cannot prosper ruling in Judah Jesus was a descendant of Jeconiah (Matt. 1:11, 12) therefore, Jesus cannot prosper ruling in Judah! Jerusalem is a city in Judea therefore, Jesus cannot prosper ruling in Jerusalem! IF SO, HOW?IF SO, HOW?

    11. Cannot prosper ruling in Judah premillennialists want Jesus to rule where he cannot prosper! if he rules in Judah, he cannot prosper if he prospers, he breaks the scripture (Jn. 10:35) is not premillennialism a doctrine of demons? John 10:35, "If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)”John 10:35, "If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)”

    12. Three Questions Can Jesus reign on earth in Jerusalem? Can Jesus sit on David’s Throne in heaven? Is Jesus already reigning in the kingdom?

    13. Gabriel, “. . . Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end” (Lk. 1:30-33, NKJV) throne + reign = kingdom Jesus Can Rule On David’s Throne In Heaven [CLICK] Can one be given a throne and reign on that throne and yet, have no kingdom? This passage is the counterpart, the antitype of 2 Sam. 7:11-16.[CLICK] Can one be given a throne and reign on that throne and yet, have no kingdom? 14. Peter, “29 Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 "he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. (Acts 2:29-31, NKJV) Jesus Can Rule On David’s Throne In Heaven

    15. Peter, “32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, 35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."’ 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:29-31, NKJV) Jesus Can Rule On David’s Throne In Heaven

    16. Peter (Acts 2:30-36) the resurrection the ascension the falling of the Holy Spirit testifies that Jesus is reigning on throne if not reigning, the resurrection, ascension and Holy Spirit baptism should have been deferred! Jesus Presently Rules on His Throne in His Kingdom in Heaven [CLICK] All three of these testify that Jesus is presently reigning!Jesus was not sitting on David's throne before his resurrection. Neither was he sitting on David's throne before His ascension. He had to ascend into the heavens.[CLICK] All three of these testify that Jesus is presently reigning!Jesus was not sitting on David's throne before his resurrection. 17. Three Questions Can Jesus reign on earth in Jerusalem? Can Jesus sit on David’s Throne in heaven? Is Jesus already reigning in the kingdom?

    18. Mark 9:1, “And He said to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power’” (NKJV) if the kingdom was not established, there better be some really, really old, eyewitness of Christ walking on earth! The Kingdom Did Come! [CLICK][CLICK]

    19. “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Col. 1:13, 14, NKJV) deliverance from the power of darkness conveyance into the kingdom synonymous with redemption and forgiveness if no kingdom, why should there be any redemption? The Kingdom Did Come! [CLICK][CLICK]

    20. Three Questions Can Jesus reign on earth in Jerusalem? Can Jesus sit on David’s Throne in heaven? Is Jesus already reigning in the kingdom?

    21. Acts 2:30-36 tells us that God was going to raise up Jesus to sit on the throne of David which necessitate his resurrection and subsequent ascension. [CLICK] Peter explains the pouring out of the Holy Spirit as proof of this (v. 33). It is just as Jesus promised. . . [CLICK] Jesus promised the kingdom would come with power (Mk. 9:1). After Pentecost, Paul said that we were conveyed into the kingdom (Col. 1:13). [CLICK] Likewise, before Pentecost, Jesus said that he would build the church. . .after Pentecost Paul speaks of him being the head of the church, a present entity. [CLICK] If there is no kingdom, then there is no new birth (Jn. 3:3-5). 22. Those born again can "see" (v. 3) and "enter" (v. 5) the kingdom. Consequently, if I can show that there is presently a new birth, then there is also a kingdom to be born into! (1 Pet. 1:23). "having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever" (1 Pet. 1:23)Those born again can "see" (v. 3) and "enter" (v. 5) the kingdom. 24. A.G’s End-Time Timeline We have shown the many holes in this theory. In fact, you might say that it is so "holy" that is is just plain "unholy."We have shown the many holes in this theory. In fact, you might say that it is so "holy" that is is just plain "unholy."

    25. Jesus was resurrected and about 40 days later he ascended Acts 1:9-11 and on day 50 he poured out the Holy Spirit which began the existence of the church as Jesus' kingdom. Indeed they are the same. Paul preached the kingdom among those at Ephesus (Acts 20:25; Eph. 5:5). Yet in doing so, he was preaching about the church Eph. 1:21, 22; 5:23ff). John wrote to the seven churches of Asia (Rev. 2, 3), but he wrote while they were in the kingdom (Rev. 1:9). [CLICK] After the defeat of pagan Rome, the Saints possess the kingdom and Satan is bound for 1000 years which is simply a long and complete amount of time. [CLICK] Afterwhich, Satan will be released to afflict the righteous again. [CLICK] After that, Jesus will then come. [CLICK] On that day the dead will be raised, both of the just and unjust.
